"We wanted to take a moment to thank Lacy Branch Events. As we began the journey planning our wedding, we talked with friends and family about what we needed to do to make our wedding day special. Our wedding was in Peoria, Illinois, a bit of a travel from where we live. Our goal was to handle the big details of our wedding ourselves. However, we needed some assistance coordinating all of the wedding vendors on the day of our wedding. Karol and I started off thinking we could plan the wedding with no problem, but with our difficulty making decisions, our lack of a "vision", busy schedules, and having a wedding in a city that we don't live in, we quickly realized that we needed help. I am so thankful that we reached out to you to help plan and be there the day of our wedding.
Every time Karol and I met vendors before we had LBE by our side they asked us what we envisioned, and this question really stumped us. Karol and I kept saying that we did not have a "vision" of what we wanted our day to look like. I truly believe you played an instrumental part in showing us that we DID have a "vision" we just couldn't see it. From the first meeting we had, you asked the right questions to get to know us as a couple and to draw out of us our likes and dislikes to determine what we really wanted in our Wedding Day. I think you ability to make us comfortable, to really get to know us coupled with our experience in wedding planning, you were able to make our "vision" come to life.
As I mentioned before Karol and I had a tough time making decisions. We were so concerned of making the wrong choice in fear of getting burned by vendors and losing money, we were never going to make progress in our wedding planning. Again, you came to our rescue. Living out of town and not having a clue about the Wedding Industry we really relied on your advice and expertise. The network you have created in the wedding industry truly saved us time, money, and most importantly gave us peace of mind. From the banquet halls, DJ's, photographers, to the florists, and to all the little special touches here and there, you provided us a list of vendors and recommendations that I know at the end of the day we made the right choices at every turn and we have you to thank for that.
Finally, the Wedding Day came and Karol and I were able to put all of our worries aside, and were able to enjoy the day, once again because Lacy Branch Events was there. I never once thought about all the last minute details because I know you had them covered. I never imagined the reception would look as great as it did, but I know you did. It was all about the little details here and there that made our reception truly unique and memorable. You made our lack of "vision" become a reality that will always be in our mind forever.

"First of all I wanted to say thank you so much for everything you did for Tyler and I to make our day an unforgettable date for us. We could not have asked for a better day- it was truly amazing!
There were so many favorite parts of the day, and one of them was getting ready together with the girls in the hotel. I am so glad you were able to coordinate the make-up artists and hairdressers to come to my suite. It was a great opportunity to relax and be pampered with the girls while enjoying some breakfast and getting ready for the big day. The main reason I was able to relax is because I knew I did not have to worry about anything because I knew you had it all under control. At no time was I worried about the flowers not being delivered, cake being late, room set up, seating arrangements, and the list goes on and on. I was able to sit back and enjoy the true meaning of the day.
You probably agree with me when I say I do not think I was the typical bride. I was never the girl who grew up dreaming about her wedding day, white dress, etc. I did want to get married, but just did not believe it was worth all the costs and headaches. Being cost conscious was very important to me. I wanted to make sure money was spent in places that mattered and not on frugal things. I am so glad you were next to me to offer your expertise, especially during vendor meetings. You helped us make choices in which we got the most "bang" for our money.
Although I did not have a clear vision for the day, you helped us find one that fir our budget and that wow-ed our family and guests--thanks! It was such a special experience to see the reception room before all our guests got in there. It was then I realized how everything came together. The reception was absolutely gorgeous. The sash colors you helped me select were rich and worked well with the room layout. The square tables were such a hit! It made the room less monotonous, they were spacious for our guests, and gave the room a little special touch. The high top tables near the bar were neat and allowed our guests to enjoy each other's company away from their dinner tables. So many people have approached us to compliment on such a beautiful wedding and fun reception.
I cannot even believe Tyler and I attempted to plan our wedding on our own. Although we are pretty busy with work, we thought we were organized enough to do it ourselves. Well we did not anticipate the challenges we would face. First of all, we live in the Chicago land area but were planning wedding in Central Illinois. After a couple of weekends traveling back and forth, visiting different reception places, and meeting with vendors, we learned this process was not going to be enjoyable if we did it all alone. Thank you for being there every step of the way. From the reception place selection to the invitation selection, from the menu tasting and cake selection to the decision on colors, room decor and flowers, and from hotel block reservations to wedding accessories---thank you! I can honestly say I do not think we would have been able to do all this and still keep our sanity.
Please extend my thank you to everyone else that assisted you. I know you all put a lot of effort in getting the reception room ready and to ensure the wedding day went smoothly. Oh...and how could I forget about our wedding suite being decorated! It was such a nice surprise to come back to a room with rose petals and candles- thanks!
If I had to sum up our wedding into one word it would be PERFECT! Thank you so much for helping us create the most perfect wedding imaginable.
